Submitting Coursework

The course syllabus is provided for your preview.  Please be sure to register PRIOR to completing any coursework. Registering for a course after coursework has been started violates accreditation standards and puts the University at risk; therefore, SPU reserves the right to not award credit if students are found to be in violation of this policy. 

3 credit courses require approximately 60 hours of work and 5 credit courses require approximately 100 hours of work.

  1. Submit all coursework together! Submit completed essays, course submission form, verification page, and answer sheet directly to ArmchairEd.  We do not accept email submissions.  You can mail, fax (360-756-8936) or use the secure dropbox submission below.  Maintain a copy of our coursework!
  2. Follow the essay rubric! All essays must be single spaced. Tests that are not single-spaced or do not meet page requirements will be returned for revisions.  Do not use the syllabus for coursework, it is only a guide.  Coursework is included on your receipt, sent in an email once you order (check your spam folder if you don’t receive it), and it is also on your SPU account.  If you need assistance with your SPU account, contact SPU directly at registrar@spu.edu.
  3. Make sure you send a completed and signed course submission form with your coursework. Write clearly and legibly.
  4. Put the course number on the course submission form. You can find  course numbers on the website with each course. You can leave the CRN space blank.  See sample course submission form below if you need assistance.
  5. Send coursework and course submission forms directly to ArmchairEd.
  6. You will receive an emailed copy of your receipt (check your spam folder if you do not receive it). Be sure to retain this copy for your records.  Coursework is also on your SPU account.
  7. Allow three weeks for ArmchairEd to process your grades from the time ArmchairEd receives them. Your grade is posted to your account on SPU’s website, where you can view your grade and download a transcript. You can email SPU at registrar@spu.edu with questions.
  8. Please send coursework directly to ArmchairEd, not the university. Do not send courses certified mail requiring a signature. We will not sign for mail.
