HOW TO ORDER

You must wait seven days after ordering before submitting coursework.  ArmchairEd posts grades to your account with SPU once scored. You can log into your account at SPU to view your grades. Grades are posted on a weekly basis.  Allow three weeks from course submission for your grades to be processed by the university. Please plan accordingly.

ArmchairEd provides graduate level, quarter credits in conjunction with Seattle Pacific University.  Please use the conversion table below if your credentialing agency requires semester credits.  The transcript provided by Seattle Pacific University will indicate quarter credits.

Quarter to Semester Conversion:

1 quarter credit = 2/3 semester credit
3 quarter credits = 2 semester credits
5 quarter credits = 3.3 semester credits

Seattle Pacific University requires a minimum of seven days between ordering and submitting  coursework.  The course syllabus is there for your review.  Do not begin coursework until you have ordered and paid for the course.

  1. Go to the COURSES button at the top of the homepage
  2. Choose the type of course(s) you want in the genres and click on the course you want
  3. Click on  “BUY NOW” if done browsing.
  4. You will be routed to the Seattle Pacific University website.
  5. Click “Add to Cart”
  6. When you have added all courses to your cart that you wish to register for, go to your shopping cart and click “Checkout”
  7. If you have previously received credit or clock hours through SPU, click  Continue under “I have an SPU Account already”
  8. If you have never taken any course through SPU, click Continue under “This is my first course through SPU”

Tips for Prompt Processing

  1. Make sure you send a completed and signed course submission form and verification form with your coursework. Write clearly and legibly.   Go to Submitting Coursework to view a sample course submission form.
  2. Put the  course numbers on the registration. You can find  course numbers on the website with each course.  We don’t need the CRN.
  3. Send transcript forms and transcript payments directly to the university. Send essays, multiple choice answer sheet, course submisison form, and verification form to ArmchairEd.
  4. Once  you register through Seattle Pacific University, you  will receive an emailed copy of your receipt (with the link to your coursework–check your spam foloder if you don’t receive this email), and ArmchairEd policies. Be sure to retain these for your records.
  5. Allow three weeks for your grade to be processed after course submission to ArmchairEd. If you have questions regarding their status, you can contact SPU directly at registrar@spu.edu.
  6. Follow the essay rubric!  All essays must be single spaced. Tests that are not single-spaced or do not meet page requirements will be returned for revisions.

Notification

ArmchairEd posts grades on your account with SPU.    Allow two weeks from course submission for your grades to be processed by the university.     You can check view your grade by logging onto your SPU account.  You may also download a transcript from your SPU account.
